I lost 130 pounds in 2.5 years following a modified Atkins diet. What everyone says is really so inspirational and motivational about my weight loss achievement. I'm maintaining this weight loss now into my 6th year! A lifetime first for me. I also made walking a daily, lifelong habit.
Since 2003 (when I started walking in ernest) I've logged over 19,000 miles or over two-thirds of the way around the earth at the equator. I know that if I continue to follow this plan of daily walking and low-carb eating Monday through Friday I will never be fat again. This is an incredibly powerful experience to have finally gained this type of control over food and my weight.

Hi Laura i have been back and forth on doing the Low-carb diet and when i read you story i had a gut feeling thats what you did...I thank you for putting your story out their because i have been struggling with my weight for as long as i can remember and im ready.
