Did I say WOW last week…after 2 days on bodybugg? OK…here’s “the scoop”…WOW WOW WOW WOW after a full week on bodybugg!!
WEEK 1, I mean "Week 15", BOTH Juli and Scott absolutely receive an A+!
Here’s what happens each week as we move forward together. We look at the previous week’s data (calories burned, food logged, steps taken, how physically active you were, etc.) and then…UPDATE OUR WEIGHT! Not always something one looks forward too. However, in Juli and Scott’s case, especially this week, we had a total BLAST not only updating their fabulous weight loss results but also sharing all of the amazing light bulb moments that occurred allowing them to get there….WEEK 1!
Next step – make adjustments to each program and recommendations to ensure next week’s success. Here was my advice to both Juli and Scott, after they gave each other a major pat on the back, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU’RE DOING!!!!
One of the millions of things I’ve learned about bodybugg is: Keep It Simple…if it’s working, keep up the fantastic work and don’t complicate your success…My goodness, these two aren’t even making me work “just a little”…they’ve been such a fabulous team I’d imagine we will be at our initial goal weight at half time and creating new programs for the duration of the game!

Last week I provided a lot of background on bodybugg. This week, I was doing my “bodybugg dance” listening to the two of them discuss WHY they got these results this first week. SO, I don’t want to steal their thunder as I know they want to SHOUT FROM THE ROOFTOPS many of the details they provided regarding KILLER RESULTS…shown above!
I will share that last week I “heard” a lot about MOVEMENT awareness. This week’s reoccurring theme was more focused on FOOD INTAKE - not only calories in, but also the nutritional content of those calories they “were” about to eat. To hear Scott say “NO WAY was I putting THAT in my mouth”…LOL…pretty cool!
Juli…well…I hope you mentioned your “backside” story…because if not…I AM NEXT WEEK!
This part of our conversation hit me straight in the heart…and you should know why from my blog last week. They told me that one night they had not hit their target burn numbers…so what did they do…GOT UP OFF THE COUCH WITH THE KIDS and did 40 minutes of “JUST DANCE”…GO WALWYN FAMILY! LOVE IT!!
This is what it’s all about, HOW weight management is done…AND THEY ARE HAVING FUN!! I quote: “We want to yell out the window to everyone about bodybugg”
Week1/15 – HOMERUN!! I fully expect one heck of a bodybugg PARTY next week again. GO JULI! GO SCOTT! I am SO excited and we’re just getting started…

I joked a few weeks back that I'd love to have Jillian Michaels screaming in my face to get my bootie moving. Well, I have it now... she's strapped to my arm in the form of bodybugg. The level of awareness in UNREAL. We are learning so much every single day and are taking action to make healthy changes as a result.
In addition to the obvious goal - move more than you eat - we are seeing data on our whole nutritional balance, which is fascinating. I learned that if I lean TOO much on "low cal/low fat" pre-packaged foods, my sodium shoots through the roof. So we are more conscious about balancing that - not removing all together, just watching it. We've also switched to organic chicken, which contains about 1/3 of the sodium as the regular chicken we were eating before (at least in the versions that we compared).
Finally, I have to tell you the "back side story" Kim hinted at. With all of the walking and "Wii Just Dance", I've already noticed some physical changes... particularly in the bootie!! So much so that I told Scott, "Feel my butt, FEEL it! It so much firmer... saddle bags are getting smaller! Can you believe it!" He happily checked out my claims :-).

The results are speaking for themselves, and I refuse to cheat on my Bugg! This system surely proves the old adage that knowledge is power. How can you make sound decisions with your fitness and nutrition without solid information? As in life, you can't. I'd have to add that the entire process for Juli and I, as well as the kids is fun. It truly is a family endeavor. I am completely confident that my wife and I will realize our change of lifestyle goals and be able to reside within them once we get there.

It was definitely exciting to have an opportunity to discuss bodybugg "behind the scenes" as he talks about bodybugg assistance during "The Dr. Oz Show" on an amazing challenge and weight loss journey about to happen!
The battery in my Digital Display went dead after about two years. This happened last week when I woke up one morning. I kept looking at my wrist and had to upload on the computer a few times. I could not go through the day; I ran down to the store and bought a new battery that night. It was easy to install, the replacement battery is a pretty standard size 2032. This made me realize that I look at the feedback multiple times in an hour and feel lost with out it. I’m so glad I have bodybugg!
We totally get that, Jamaica. Scott went to work one morning without his bodybugg and cam all the way back home to get it! Did want to lose a single second of tracking!
Juli and Scott: AWESOME WORK!!!! What an inspiration to us all. I completely agree with the whole awareness theme you have going on. We all "know" not to eat junk and to be active. But when we SEE and put concrete numbers to how those choices and changes DIRECTLY impact our progress - that is how we will make those choices and changes for LIFE! Congratulations! I look forward to hearing of next week's success!
